Whether your interest is have your
son or daughter learn or you are older than fourteen and want to learn for
the first time, we can match you with a good teacher who will make learning
a stringed instrument fun.

Private instruction for the
violin, viola, and cello are available at Quist Violins. These classes
are taught by some of the finest string teachers in the Pacific Northwest.
Teachers include: Wai Chan,
Coral Marchant, Jane Perkins, Sharyn Peterson, Morgan Schwab, Lisa Dyvig,
and Michael-Ann Burnett.

Group Fiddle Classes |
|
Adult and
teens can learn to play violin in classes geared for enjoyment
while learning to play and read music in a group setting. There are
groups for beginners and advanced students who are introduced to American
and Celtic fiddle tunes.

the violin in this fun introductory course for teens and adults. It's a
great first step for those wishing to play classical or other genres. |

Emphasis in these classes is
learning to play in a variety of keys and styles while expanding your
repertoire of American and Celtic fiddle tunes. This is an excellent
refresher for violinists with previous experience and wish to begin playing
again. |

their skills learned in previous classes, emphasis is given to Celtic fiddle
styles, ornamentation, bowing technique, harmony and performance. |
